Born in Nassau on October 14th, 1976, to Jena and John Braynen, Jecholiah's academic journey began after high school at Success Training College, where she pursued Business Administration. With a knack for office procedures, she continued her studies at Nova University, honing her expertise in Business Management.

In 2008, Jecholiah commenced her career at Grand Bahama Shipyard, initially joining the HR department where she quickly distinguished herself. Over a decade, she progressed to the Projects Management Team, assuming the role of Projects Coordinator. Additionally, she served as the company's Internal Auditor for eight years, earning certification from the British Standard Institution and actively contributing to the safety committee.

She is currently the manager of Easy Dental Care and oversees all offices across four islands in The Bahamas as well as an entrepreneur. She is the founder of 24K Event Management, and sole proprietor of Graceland Investments, where she manages both the construction and operations of a charming 12-unit Bed and Breakfast.

​

Jecholiah's commitment to the community extends beyond her professional endeavors. Jecholiah has a strong sense of service and as such, founded a non-profit organization that provides meals and toys for children on Christmas morning.  Additionally, in 2023, she conceived the idea and helped to organize the inaugural Women and Girls in Science Symposium. She also serves as a Director for The Chamber of Commerce and is an active member of the Northern Bahamas Toastmasters Clubs,

She values social connections and cherishes time spent with loved ones, including her two children (Genesis Barnett & Keith Rose) and granddaughter, Amelia-Grace Smith.
