Associate Professor of Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship
Dr. Selwyn Seymour, BSc, MSc (Econ), PGCE, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship, who has had a varied career as a Merchant Marine Officer (United States Coast Guard),  Air Traffic Controller (Bahamas) and Enterprise Educator and Business Adviser/Consultant (London and Edinburgh).

However, his introduction to small businesses started in April 1997, and since then, he has worked with more than 250 small and mid-market companies. He has worked in New York, The Bahamas, London and Edinburgh; he entered Higher Education in 2004, and was appointed Lecturer in Entrepreneurship & Small Business in Nov-2006. He completed his PhD in 2015 which researched and brought together Strategy, Entrepreneurship/Innovation and International Business. Since Feb-2012, he has co-run an enterprise training company for which he has developed training materials and remains a Director.  Dr. Seymour is also an author, his recent publication is
